Abbreviation “AMUS” stands for „Association of Composers – Music Authors“, and it was founded in 2000. Amendments of the Articles of Association of AMUS and harmonization with the provisions of the new Law on Collective Management of Copyright and Related Rights in BiH and the Law on Associations and Foundations were registered by the Decision No. 01/6-67-RS/02 of the Ministry of Justice of BiH on January 12th, 2012.
President of the Assembly is Edin Dervishalidovic, and Vice-president Mladen Matovic.

At the moment, AMUS has over 900 members-authors with a repertoire of over 36,000 musical works.
Assembly of the Association of Composers - Music Authors consists of all regular members of the Association with equal voting rights.
